So this week, I decided to do some involuntary website maintenance (a.k.a credit card on file with GoDaddy expired, and site was deleted by mistake), and now I have a shiny new site. Hooray! Luckily, I was planning to build a new one anyways since the old site did not play well with smart phones, but sadly, all my many blog posts are now lost in the eternal void of the internet. If you didn’t keep up with it before, just imagine that it was incredibly funny, entertaining, and all around enlightening. If you did keep up with it, hopefully you will agree with that last statement (or at least don’t ruin it for any new people).
A little bit of an update. I have officially lived in New York for a year, and I am still loving it! Summer was fantastic in the city, and there was hardly a dull moment. I had my first show at Rockwood Music Hall, got to be a part of the Coffee Music Project, playing shows at Pianos and Webster Hall. I’m also incredibly close to having a new single ready. I know it’s been a while since I put out a new project, but I’ve really wanted to release something that truly says something, and that’s taken me longer than originally expected. I appreciate all of you who have still been buying and streaming my previous releases in the mean time. Judging by my streaming royalties that are in the tens of…well the tens, I’m still getting a few thousands streams each month, so I’m glad people are enjoying it. The other day, someone had discovered my song, “More Than Crazy,” for the first time on Pandora, which I released in 2012. They messaged me to tell me it was their new favorite love song. I’m really blown away when that happens, and it’s such an encouragement to keep going, and know that someone is appreciating what I do.
Well if you’re still reading this, thank you, and please check back soon for some more exciting news!
